A steady hand for mission-driven leaders.
I’m Akrama Hashmi, a nonprofit consultant based in Chicago. For more than fifteen years I’ve worked alongside founders, executive directors, and boards to help their organizations grow with clarity and purpose.
My work sits at the intersection of strategy, fundraising, and executive leadership. I’ve led nonprofit operations, built donor programs from the ground up, and helped organizations move from fragile early years to sustainable long-term impact.
What I care about most is fit: the right strategy for your mission, the right structure for your team, and the right message for the people you serve. Every engagement starts by listening — deeply — to what is already working and what is quietly getting in the way.
